Terms and Conditions
World Trotting Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd. herein after referred to as the Company and client herein referred as customer, tourist, guest, person in whose name or whose behalf booking is made accepts bookings subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein, which agreement shall be the whole agreement between the parties.
All services provided and assured by the Company are subject to full realization of payment prior to departure. If payment to the Company is made by cheque, the Package/ tour component will be delivered only after realization of payment.
This booking and subsequent contract shall be deemed to have been concluded in New Delhi, India and shall be interpreted according to the laws of the Republic of India.
The parties consent to the jurisdiction of the Magistrates Court of Delhi. The Company at its instance will have the discretion to sue in the High Court if it deems is appropriate.
All prices and services are correct at the time of printing. All prices, services and departures are subject to change without prior notice.
The Company reserves the right to alter the published price of any tour due to increasing tariffs, costs and entry fees or fluctuation of exchange rates, such amounts shall be determined at the sole discretion of the company.
The Company reserves the right to decline any booking without outlining its reasons therefore.
No booking shall be considered confirmed until a written confirmation slip has been sent to the agent/client and the full amount due paid.
Any complaint by the Tourist (including complaint on behalf of passengers of the Group submitted by the Tourist) in connection with or arising out of the tour must be notified to the Company in writing within twenty one (21) days from the end of the tour. No claim or complaint made thereafter shall be entertained in any circumstances. No individual complaint of passenger of the Group shall be entertained directly and therefore same must be made only by The Tourist who is a leader of the Group.
The Company will not be liable to any passenger for refund, compensation or claim for shortage of tour days or for cancellation, postponement or re-routing of any particular scheduled transport service due to any reasons including fog. The rules in respect of cancellation charges or refund will be applicable. The tickets are issued, subject to conditions herein.
DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
A non-refundable 30% deposit is required to secure a booking. This amount forms part of the payment for the trip and shall be offset to the total amount charged to the client/agent.
You are requested to pay the balance amount by twenty-five (25) days prior to departure, if you fail to do so then the Company reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and the deposit shall be forfeited.
Passengers booking within twenty-five (25) days of tour departure are required to pay the 100% amount immediately to secure the seat.
Apart from above, in case of bookings for special train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (X-Mas, New Year, Pushkar Fair, Diwali etc) full payment is required to be made at the time of booking itself.
CANCELLATIONS / NO SHOW
In the case of a booking cancellation, the Company shall retain the full deposit. If a booking is cancelled less than twenty-five (25) days prior to the tour departure date, then the clients subject to a cancellation fee as follows:
- 25-15 Days – 50% Cancellation Fee
- 14-07 Days – 75% Cancellation Fee
- 06-00 Days – 100% Cancellation Fee
Please note –
Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – incase of cancellation of tour / travel services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.
In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
In case of special train journey (like Palace on Wheels, Royal Rajasthan on Wheels, Deccan Odyssey, Golden Chariot, Indian Maharaja & Maharajas Express) – a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when required).
Please note that if booking for following period is/are cancelled, due to whatsoever reason, no refund would be made for said cancellation –
High Peak Season bookings (from 20th Dec to 15th Jan).
Festival Period Bookings (Festivals like -Diwali, Dussehra, Holi, Pushkar fair etc).
Long Weekends Bookings.
Any passenger joining a tour after the departure date, or not at all, or leaving before the completion of the tour for any reason whatsoever, is not entitled to any refunds whatsoever from the Company, or entitled to claim any costs for any added expenses.
Should a client wish to move from one tour to another there is a standard fee payable. Should the change be made within 25-days of departure date then the standard cancellation fees apply.
The Company reserves the right to cancel any tour at its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notification in instances where this is unavoidable. However, in this instance the Company agrees to refund the money already paid by the client. This shall be the Company’s sole responsibility to the client and no claim for any damages, howsoever arising, shall accrue against the company.
In regard to refund of unused / unutilized services (which are paid for and cancelled in advance) the refund amount would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described above and the money would be accordingly refunded to the person who has made the payment to us. Please note that the refund process may take 2 – 4 weeks due to banking procedures. If the refund is made to the credit card account OR to Bank account, the bank charges would be debited from the refund amount.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-In Timings: 1200 – 1500 Hours
Early arrival is subject to availability. For guaranteed early check-in, reservation needs to be made from the previous night.
Check-Out Timings: 1000 – 1200 Hours
Late check-out are available on request and subject to availability / payment
STAR CLASSIFICATION OF HOTELS
Star classification of Hotels as 5 star, 4 star and so on is provided to the Company by the supplier of the hotel travel component / agent and the Company endeavor to validate and authenticate this information in utter good faith. The Company cannot be held liable for wrong and inaccurate information provided to the Company. Descriptions, photographs, sketches and list of amenities/facilities are also provided and this information is obtained from the supplier of the hotel travel component.
PASSPORTS, VISAS AND OTHER TRAVEL PAPERS
It is the client’s sole responsibility to ensure that passports, visas, health certificates, proof of vaccinations and any other required documentation are all in order for the countries to be visited. Passports must have 3-4 blank pages available.
The Company cannot be held liable for any consequences, damages or claims if the client prior to commencement of the tour does not correctly attend to the client’s documentation and related matters.
The package / tour / service cost is not inclusive of any insurance. We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times are at the client’s risk.
Generally one suitcase not exceeding 20 kgs. and one piece of cabin baggage not exceeding 5 kgs is permitted. But, it is always advisable to check with the specific Airlines/Overseas Tour Operator/Transporter. Allowance may vary from transporter to transporter. As is the common practice, one piece of luggage is to be with linear dimensions (Length + Height + Width) not exceeding 45 inches. The Transporter may charge extra amount for the excess baggage. Against loss or late delivery of baggage payment for the same is subject to conditions laid down by the airline/overseas tour operator/hotel. The Company will not be liable to the passenger for any case of late delivery or loss of baggage weather caused by any airlines, tour operator or hotel or by anyone else.
The client accepts that all tours involve an element of personal risk. Neither the Company nor any of its agents shall be held liable in any way for any injury, loss of life or damage to property, howsoever caused and the client hereby indemnifies and holds the company, its agent, assigns and employees harmless from any such claim. The client accepts full responsibility for all risks involved.
The client accepts that to participate in the tour requires a measure of physical fitness and health and it is the client’s obligation to ensure that they are medically fit to embark on the tour.
AUTHORITY ON TOUR
The decisions of the Company’s guide/driver on tour shall at all times be final and binding.
The client must at all times comply with the laws, customs and foreign exchange regulations of the country visited.
Should the client be in any contravention of the above or the client is a nuisance to the group the driver/guide may order the client to leave the tour without any claim to a refund. The client shall be obliged to make their way home at their own expense.
Unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to war, mechanical breakdowns, weather, riots and other unforeseen reasons beyond the control of the Company may cause delays or alterations to the tour. The Company shall not be held liable in any way for any of these possible occurrences or any consequences, which may arise as a result of these.
